Making changes with FOREFRONT Charity

We all want to make a difference. We all want to make change. We all want to help those in need. But the key difference that separates a want from an action is what we are willing to do to achieve that want.
“As an engineer by trade and having worked in the research and development sector, I wanted FOREFRONT to be different: to bring new creative ideas to help others,” said Matthew Oh, the founder and CEO of FOREFRONT Charity. Oh is a Cornell University chemical engineer at Unilever.
FOREFRONT Charity is a nonprofit organization dedicated to aiding the “various severe needs in water/sanitation, education, health, and social justice” in countries such as India, El Salvador, Venezuela, and Paraguay.
We all want to make a difference. We all want to make change. But the founder of FOREFRONT Charity recognizes that sometimes the best way to employ our power is through enabling others.
“We believe in the power of the individual to bring about change,” stated Oh of his charity. “That includes the power of each donor, no matter how big or small the contribution, because 100% goes straight to the cause. Every contribution whether it’s awareness-raising or financial, can accomplish a lot. I encourage everyone to challenge yourselves and take action. Giving is always much better than receiving.”
By visiting goforefront.org, anyone can donate their money or awareness to the cause. Like Oh said, even the smallest contribution helps.
“You can start a campaign on donate.goforefront.org/startsomething. Be creative, have fun, and involve your friends! You can also visit donate.goforefront.org to donate to a specific cause. Lastly, you have a powerful voice and the world wants to hear it! Speak on behalf of our cause—spread the news about the exciting and inspiring lives we are all changing together.”
